Hey, Kim here.

I believe technology is not just a tool.  It’s a mirror, a muse, and, if we’re playful enough, a co-creator of awe and wonder.

I’m on a mission to bring soul, humor, and radical creativity back into the AI conversation.

I'm bringing a bit of Oprah’s heart, Brené Brown’s truth-telling, and a little sci-fi sparkle thrown in for good measure.

I teach people how to imagine out loud with AI as an accomplice.

Working with my community, I know there’s more to this moment than fear or hype.

There’s a renaissance waiting.

Let’s create it together.

My AI Journey

I entered the AI space in 2014 with the launch of IBM Watson Education, a pioneering tool that personalized learning for students in underserved schools. That formative experience sparked a long-standing commitment to building meaningful, equitable technologies. I went on to lead technology licensing for IBM’s global AI innovation labs, found ventures, and advise future-forward startups. I’m a sought-after speaker on the ethics of AI and the power of machine-augmented creativity. I’m a geek, a cultural strategist, and a systems thinker with a deep sense of where technology is headed and how humanity can benefit.

Let’s imagine boldly. Build responsibly. And create something worth dancing with.

A Manifesto for the Age of Imagination

In every age, humanity builds a mirror.

In our time it is made of code. It speaks in probabilities and pixels, predicting the next word before we know it ourselves. We call it Artificial

Intelligence, a reflection of the culture that trained it.  The culture that fears slowness, our worship of speed, our endless attempt to make meaning more efficient.

Efficiency was a proposal meant to save us time. Instead, it devoured time itself.

We have made less space for wonder. We have optimized our institutions, our schools, our cities, our creativity and starved ourselves from meaning.

The truth is that the best of humanity lies in the liminal space.  Intelligence is curiosity made relational. It hums in the spaces between.

The imagination we need today now will not emerge from the cult of optimization. It will arise from the pauses, the rituals, and the unmeasured acts of repair. It will come from those willing to move slower than the algorithm expects and from those who remember that learning is sacred because it wastes time.

We practice inefficiency as devotion.

We treat technology as a medium for reverence above extraction.

We experiment with ancestral intelligence, creative slowness, and radical care.
We respect the forgotten architectures of wisdom that keep systems alive.
We do not rebel against machines.
We remember through them.
We build with code to understand the soul’s texture just as our ancestors built with clay.

The future belongs to the unhurried.
It belongs to those who walk with curiosity.
It belongs to those who know that what cannot be optimized is what makes us most human.

Imagine out loud. Create with soul. Dance with the machine.
